Black Boy Inn has multiple buildings to choose from when staying with them. Bachgen Du is the area within the Inn, which has 16th Century architecture with a unique twist. Jac Du is the name for the rooms in the Edwardian building at the rear of the main building, only a few steps away from the Castle. Ty Dre is the Edwardian town house with high ceilings and open airy rooms. Lastly, is Twr Du, a listed Edwardian building with modern decor. 


The restaurant at the Black Boy Inn has won the bronze award for best food in Wales. They serve up traditional Welsh pub classics with a great field to fork ethos, where they source their food as locally as possible.




Celtic Royal Hotel


The Celtic Royal Hotel is a modernised historic hotel and spa, in walking distance of the town and castle. The building dates back to the 18th century and was visited often by Queen Victoria. 


The place has an impressively grand reception hall, library room, and communal lounge that has been refurbished to perfection. It holds its traditional features whilst having a contemporary decor.
