Fun Things To Do In Caernarfon
IMAGE

Caernarfon Castle
Caernarfon Castle is a medieval waterfront fortification which was constructed as part of Edward I’s (of the Longshanks) ‘Iron Ring’ of castles which was built in order to keep an oppressive heel on the regularly revolting welsh. The town was used as the administrative headquarters of North Wales. You can come and check out this historical hub of North Wales, learn all about the medieval history and have a wonderfully fun day out. Explore the medieval stone walls with fantastic panoramic views of the surrounding area.

Fun Centre
Caernarfon Fun Centre has been a capital of soft play fun in the North Wales area for years. The massive drop slides offer an asteroidal drop into a ball pit below. There’s tonnes of obstacles and soft fun objects to tackle and play with. By the end of the day the little ones will be absolutely pooped! There’s a wonderful cafe in which the big ones can sit and relax with a tea or coffee, until adventure time is over.

Segontium
Caernarfon’s history doesn’t stop in the medieval ages, going all the way back to the Roman Empire, as a great Roman settlement of Segontium sits on the outskirts of town. It was at its time, the most important military base and administrative centre in this part of Britain. The foundations of the fortification are still visible today, and you can take guided walks around the grounds, providing a rare opportunity to learn a bit more about the roman occupation of Britain.

If you’re interested in visiting the area and are looking for somewhere to stay, you’re in luck! Coed Helen Holiday Park is offering camping, touring, luxury lodge hire and holiday homes in Caernarfon for sale, which means you would have as much access to this glorious and historical areas as you’d like.
